Thank you to our 2021 IMPACT Feature Family, Angela Jones and her children, for helping us to communicate the “impact” of our supporters! We are pleased to share this beautiful family photo and a personal message from Angela.
Your support makes a difference!
Dear IMPACT Supporter,
You saved my son Joshua’s life this year!
How?
You ensured that Joshua (9) received his daily home treatments including his vest and nebulizer treatments to help to clear his lungs, and G-tube feedings via his feeding machine that runs 18 hours a day! These treatments are critical for his care and paramount to survival as a patient with cystic fibrosis (CF).
The pandemic caused many changes for us including my loss of income. We fell behind on bills. As a single parent I am the sole provider and I tend to his daily health care needs in our home. CF is a demanding and life-threatening disease with no cure. We simply must have utilities on at all times! Every. Single. Day.
Joshua is an amazing child who has been hospitalized 30 times in his life thus far. When he is not sick or in treatments, he loves riding his bike and practicing Tae Kwon Do! He is a wonderful big brother. I burst with joy watching him enjoy life as an ordinary child.
I believe our lives are not measured by how much money we have or do not have, but by how we help others and the imprint on the hearts and minds of those we help. You truly have impacted our lives and left an imprint on our hearts that will last a lifetime!
Will you please give a year-end gift to IMPACT so that more families receive the services they need? If you have any questions please contact IMPACT's Chief Development Officer, Terri Speirs, by emailing TSpeirs@impactcap.org. DONATE TODAY online here.
If it were not for your support I hate to think of where we would be right now, so from the bottom of my heart I thank you. THANK YOU!
Sincerely,
Angela Jones
P.S. Will you please give? Joshua is one of nearly 19,000 children and teens who were assisted this year. Your support will help many more families who need help with rent, utilities, food or other essential needs.
